Anyone experience audio stutter / brief cut outs in Halo Infinite on PC when using speakers (not headphones)? This happens every couple of minutes and the stuttecut out of sound is a second long at best. Can either be a drop in sound or slight audio crackle. Using dolby atmos for home theater for sound in windows sound settings

Hello, I’m going to put you all in a little bit of context, me and my gf been dating for over 8 months, and things are getting difficult. I’m a sensitive guy that I usually shuts in and is really difficult for me to open up since I grew with a single mom and I’m used to not bother my mom with my problems since she was always working and trying her best. So when I met her the communication was great but I still kept things for me, but even like that I have never met anyone that can make me talk without thinking and be myself without judging me. The thing is that she has anxiety and depression, and they have worsened since the beginning of the year, and I'm used to it, only when it got worse I was having a stressful time with work and I couldn't be there for her as usual. In the next 3 months we had fights and but we always sticked together no matter what, even once when we decided that it was over.
She went on a trip for a few weeks to visit her family. During all this time I have felt very lonely at home and I have closed in on myself again and that harms our communication, but still I try not to tell her that I feel bad. To not to ruin her trip. Yesterday she called me and we talked and she told me that she no longer felt that she could express herself freely since I’m strongly emotionally attached to her (my ex gf cheated on me and it’s been hard for me to trust) and I’m insecure even though I never told her anything about her having male friends and that she doesn't know if she wants to continue in the relationship even though she loves me.
She told me to wait until she come back, but it’s a lot of time (2 more weeks) until she comes back. But I don’t know if I can wait this much since each day is worst than the next. I write a lot in my notes so I’m going to copy and paste the note that I wrote yesterday since it describes how I feel, I’m sorry if it’s difficult to understand but I was really emotional at that time and english is not my first language, I appreciate any kind of advice.
“ I have a feeling in my chest, like when I feel like I'm going to lose something and that it won't be the same again, I'm paranoid all the time that she doesn't betray me in any way since deep down that's what I feel it’s going to happen. I can't stop thinking about it, about how she will find a way to distance away little by little from me on this trip so that it doesn't cost her and don’t hurt herself, while I'm here waiting day after day for her to come back and be with her. I don't feel well. When I talk to others, my feeling calms down and as soon as I shut up, my thoughts come back to me. The last time we spoke, she told me something like that she can't find or decide how to break or give us space, but that she has it in mind. That she loves me, yes, but if she's not with me she has to go back to her mother's house and she doesn't know what's worse. That she keeps thinking about her ex, that she is angry with him but I think she still loves him and she feels more for him. I don't feel well. All this makes me devalue myself, in all possible aspects. In how there is no way that I can fill any of the necessary aspects in his life. At least I would like to know if this is over or she really wants to be with me and give me the opportunity to really be someone important, that maybe my efforts are not enough or correct. She feels bad for not being able to contribute the same as I wto her and that this is one of the reasons why she considers that we should not be together, but it hurts me even more that she wants to reject my desire to help her in any way possible. I don't feel well.”

• How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life? Longevity is good; I prefer they last several years before replacement. Good enough performance for what I do with it. Don't care about things like 2-in-1. Just a functional, basic laptop is all I need.

• How important is weight and thinness to you? Thin or bulky, I'm fine either way. I mostly use it at home so portability isn't a big deal at all.

• Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. Current is 15.6", which I find comfortable. Willing to go smaller though.

Lots of Minecraft Bedrock Edition, too. At most demanding, maybe stuff like Wolfquest AE, RDR2, No Man's Sky, and Blender for modding? Willing to sacrifice running those last few, though, as long as my main games run well enough.

If it hits 60 FPS as least semi-regularly, its good enough, and I don't care about always having the highest graphic settings, either. My current one drops some games down to like 12 frames sometimes, seriously please just anything better than that.

I've been very happy with it, but it's increasingly pushing a decade old, and it is struggling. I got a part time bar job in uni, loved it and just never quit. It was fun until it wasn't. Somewhere between COVID, getting older and my work friends moving on, I lost my passion.
In a funny turn of events the place I worked for closed down unexpectedly in January, and I've been job hunting with great difficulty since. Applied to tons of 9-5 jobs that I hated the sound of, applied to bar jobs that I dont want anymore, yada yada, no luck so far.
At this point I've accepted I probably need to retrain and bartend part time for now, if I want any hope of a career that doesn't make me wanna die.
I actually do love bartending, I'm fucking great at it, if it were 9-5 Mon-Fri I'd do it forever. I don't wanna work every evening and weekend anymore. It's socially isolating and depressing.
So I'm looking into jobs that are physical and/or sociable, MINIMAL time in front of a screen, and sociable hours. I cannot handle a desk job. I'll rot away, I wasn't built for it. Im supposed to be outside, making something or just generally using my hands.
Right now I'm between trade school (electrician most likely) and physiotherapy. Former is a quicker route to employment, latter will take much longer (about 3-4 years of school) but with more consistent earnings and fulfils my desire to talk to people in the job.
Anyone got more ideas of stuff that could work for me? Please don't suggest sales btw, I ain't built for that unfortunately.

This is partly to vent and also maybe get advice. We’ve been working with a local jeweler to make a custom ring for a few weeks now. We picked him because he has a lot of experience, his prices were cheaper, he said that he wouldn’t charge sales tax if we paid in cash. I was under the assumption that we would pick a design first, he’ll make a CAD drawing, then make any modifications as necessary, make the wax mold, and then the ring.
The issues: - He backtracked on the no tax with cash during a later appointment when I asked

• He doesn’t seem to read my emails and just looks at the pictures. I sent him pictures of different rings and specifically pointed out certain details that I liked from each and asked if he could replicate them. He calls me after I send my emails so I know he’s opening them but he doesn’t address all my concerns or just brush them off. He rambles a lot and it’s hard to get a word in. He focuses more on what he considers as important which I can understand but ignores some of specific details I want. I thought OK I should just trust the process and let him do his job; we’ll make any modifications when the CAD drawing is done.

We were going to go with this one design but asked for an estimate for another design. He said that he liked the new one better and suggested diamonds on the basket. I asked if it would be too bulky and he said no. I’m like OK let’s do that. He sends me the CAD drawing, which doesn’t have the diamond basket but I assumed he took it out for a reason.
I asked to make a small modification which was to taper the cathedral a little. Then he got annoyed at me, basically accusing me of being wishy washy because I sent him multiple pictures of different ring designs. He even printed them out and was like, “You sent me this one… then this one… then this one. These are all different designs, how am I supposed to know what you want if you keep changing your mind??” I said that if he read my emails, he would have noticed that I pointed out specific details from each picture. He also said that making modifications will increase the price because the CAD designers are paid $65/hour. I’m like, uh you didn’t mention that any adjustments would increase the cost.
He took me to the CAD designer to explain what I wanted. He continued to complain how I sent him all these ring designs and that they were all different. He also told me that the diamond basket would be bulky and stressed to the CAD designer that I wanted it when it wasn’t my idea in the first place. Besides that, the designer said that an important detail I really wanted (which was previously confirmed by the jeweler) wasn’t possible. At that point I felt exasperated and barely made any changes to the design. I felt so upset afterwards that I even cried at home.
Honestly, I don’t even want to work with him anymore but we still have to pay for the CAD rendering and wax. At this point I don’t even care if my boyfriend proposed with an onion ring. I don’t want to keep wasting time on this process and just want to get it done and over with. The ring will be close to what I want and I can live with that. What do you guys think?

I, like many, have had too many day 1s. I am on day 3 right now and those thoughts are starting to kick in on wanting to drink tonight. However, in addition to my usual reasons why I want to stop (better health, weight loss, money, being present at home), I started a new antidepressant three days ago and it says not to drink on it. I know most meds say that, but in addition to the risk of mixing meds and alcohol, I know I’m not giving the med a chance to work if I’m drinking. Guess just posting this here for accountability. I am NOT drinking tonight.

I told them the problems I am going through. I mentioned I cannot cook at home due to my parents not cleaning up after themselves. I eat once a day on the way to work and fast on the weekends. I cannot afford even the cheapest apartment in town. I'm bored. I'm lonely. I feel lost in life. I feel like a failure in life. ect ect.
The help I was offered was first a Kwik Trip gift card. Not sure how a gift card will help. Then I was offered the number for another Church in town that might have more services to offer. 👍

Hello kind people I have purchased new JVS wireless headphones that I wish to connect to my two ROKU TV's but I cannot seem to do that. A couple of things to start off: yes they are charged and yes they are are a version of Bluetooth that is compatible with Roku devices.
Upon my first unsuccessful attempt I went to the Roku help page and asked if I could connect (wireless headphones) to their devices and they say yes you can. Here is their step by step instructions on how to do it:

1. Go to HOME page
2. Go to SETTINGS page
3. Go to REMOTES AND DEVICES
4. Select WIRELESS HEADPHONES
5. Add new wireless headphones

The problem, however, is that I don't get the option of WIRELESS HEADPHONES on either tv. Instead the only options available for remotes and devices are ROKU SPEAKERS, SOUND BARS, and WOOFERS, none of which are (wireless speakers).
Has anybody ran into this problem? Did you resolve it and how? Does anyone else have any ideas on what I can do?

Hello all! 6 months ago I was hit by a truck and along with many injuries, I tore my ACL, LCL and they had to reconstruct my PLC. I was to about 110° ROM before surgery. I’m in decent shape, I played sports all through high school but I’m 23 now. I got it to 75° about two weeks ago. Since then it seems to have just gotten worse. Last week I could only hit high 60°’s and now high 50°’s. It’s a very very painful pulling feeling on the inside side of me knee when doing ROM exercises. I go to PT twice a week along with ROM Exercises at home but I was curious if y’all had any advice or I guess motivational words for.
