2023.03.30 17:06 Gabwp1 Oh, the nerves!!
Just got off the phone with my VSO, who called me! Apparently, my claim is with the VSR, so hopefully, soon, I will be hearing happy, happy news. He also mentioned that two of the deferred claims were favorable! I need 40% to hit that golden number of 100%. Fingers crossed, brothers and sisters! It's on like Donkey Kong now with the refresh buttons.

2023.03.30 17:06 FrozenWulf210 No data on new (refurbished) phone
Hi there, I just bought a refurbished Galaxy s21 to replace my old s9 as it was not holding battery very well anymore. I am a Straight Talk user and have switched my sim to a new phone previously but upon doing it this time I found that I was only able to make calls and texts, but could not recieve data. I reached out to customer support, tried all of their run-around like reseting my APN, network settings, etc. I even bought one of their BYOP kits and transfered my number to that new sim card to no avail. I'm really out of patience and I'd rather not return this phone unless I need to. Can anyone please help?

2023.03.30 17:02 ih331 Please help me understand and love Vilnius.
Hi,
I'm from Austin, Texas and just spent 3 days in Vilnius and I feel bad for saying I did not like the city. It was beautiful and maybe it was the cold that got to me but I really wanted to love it and I did not. The weather was -4c to 1c so maybe that was the case. I stayed at a nice airbnb close to the train station. I saw the castle on the hill, took a few bus lines to the end in the north of the city. Saw the national museum yet last night as I walked through the section with all the skyscrapers it seemed cold and unwelcoming. There was no one around at 11pm and I was shivering. Around 1:00 am still walking I decided to walk into some bars yet didn't feel like it was easy to interact with anyone. I'm 42m so maybe I had a bad attitude or something but I just came from Poland and LOVED it. I'm now in Riga, Latvia and somehow feel more cozy here. I think I was also annoyed that every time I got on the bus I had to pay 1 euro and could not figure out how to buy a bus pass for a few days. On top of that I tried to get a membership at GymPlius and was denied because I did not have a Lithuanian phone number.
Maybe I need to go back and explore the city when it is warmer? Also it maybe doesn't help that I talked to 3 people, 2 locals and 1 foreigner who told me they did not like Vilnius. Please help me understand because I wanted to love this city.

2023.03.30 17:02 KindlyDate6917 Issues with Watch 5 pro with LTE
I can't get my watch to accept calls at all, I bought it through t-mobile and currently have active service but when disconnected from my phone upon trying to call my number it says that the subscriber doesn't allow incoming calls and it never goes through or if just my phone rings. My watch never rings while it's solely on LTE and it's kind of annoying since I'm paying for the service. Any idea on how to get it to work?
I've already factory reset both devices and it still doesn't allow calls to register on my watch without being connected via Bluetooth

2023.03.30 17:01 Monthemod MUST READ: HOW TO HIRE A WRITER AND AVOID GETTING SCAMMED!
READ BELOW TO AVOID GETTING SCAMMED AND FINDING QUALITY FREELANCERS!
1.
Use PayPal and select “Goods and Services” to send payments Use PayPal to pay your freelancer, and select the payment to be for “Goods and services” when sending. Sending it as a Good/Service guarantees a refund incase you get scammed! Sending it as a “Friends/family/gift” offers ZERO protection!
- Pay in milestones
If you need a 4 page research project done for $60. Instead of paying the $60 upfront, ask your writer if you can pay $20 for the first 33% of the project. Once they send you the first 33%, deposit them another $20 for part 2. Repeat until you get to the last stage! This method benefits both freelancers and clients.
- Never reveal ANY personal information
Never reveal your name, birthday, social security, home address, phone number, school or any piece of info that can leave you vulnerable.
- Interview and ask writers questions and request samples before hiring
Ask your writer questions about their knowledge, expertise in your project, experience. Request previous samples of their work and be as thorough when making your selection. As the client, you have the right to due diligence.
- Make sure the model projects you pay for are NOT plagiarized
Copy parts of your project and paste it into google to see if any matching text pops up on any websites. This is one way of checking your project has been originally written. Make sure citations are properly added.
- Use the projects you receive as research guides/models, instead of turning it in as your own work
By purchasing projects and utilizing them as research guides for your own assignments, you benefit in a myriad of ways. Such as having the information/subject manner organized for you to study. As well as having a rough idea on how to start your own project and formatting/building off of the content that's already presented.
It's up to you at the end of the day how you use your purchased projects. But utilizing them in this way is 100% more likely to improve your understanding of the discussion point!
RED FLAGS TO WATCH OUT FOR
-
Writers messaging you with broken English, bad punctuation, typo’s, etc. -
Writers asking you to send payments as “Gifts” instead of services. -
Writers asking for more funds without providing the completed work. Or changing the price mid-way (except if you’ve asked for additional writing). - Writers requesting payments through Western Union or Cryptocurrency. As these forms of payments are irreversible/virtually untraceable. - Writers copy and pasting/plagiarizing work submitted by

2023.03.30 17:01 cornmeal-jo No Way To Contact Potential Employer
So I recently applied to three positions at a regional jail...One of which was brought to my attention on Indeed via a supposed recruiter.
It's been over two weeks since I applied with zero contact from anyone who works there. I attempted to reach out to see what the status was but there's virtually no phone numbers online for HR. Just the standard jail telephone system that tells you about dress codes, how to put money in inmates accounts etc. I even reached out to other jails and criminal related departments to see if they had some sort of contact info , but nothing..
Today I saw that all the jobs had been renewed on Indeed...not the first time that's happened. I once saw Walmart post positions for asset protection, to which I applied, did an interview, sat at a clinic for 3 hours for a piss test , only to never hear back. The jobs had been taken down so I assumed they'd found someone. However, within a week the jobs were relisted, so obviously it didn't work out.
That said, should I be relieved that the jail position isn't going to work out ? Obviously if there's no extensions or emails available they don't want you reaching out to them. It kinda makes me wonder if the work environment is stable or just pure chaos.

2023.03.30 16:57 1-900OkFace I can tell HCBM is about to pull something
Per the custody arrangement my DH gets the kids over their spring break. His ex flipped the eff out because while her DH is out of work, she is taking the week off in order to take care of his kids, so she wanted hers home too.
My husband was like "nope, per the order I have them". He told my 2 ss's the plan for spring break included them going to go see their grandma (she loves the boys) but BM did NOT like that while she was spying in on their phone call. She texted my DH over and over after the call how she did not want that and to just give them to her for that week, but DH said no.
Guess who is "sick" and has to go to the doctors? One of my stepsons. She has done this multiple times now, said the youngest was sick and withheld him from DH's visitation because she didn't trust my DH to take care of him, even though she always sends him with some new medicine.
My DH has contacted the lawyer in the past over the withholding, but didnt go so far as to call police, because he didnt want to traumatize his son. Down here the police will enforce custody orders. Last time she withheld one of the boys was because he had a "rash" that NO doctor could figure out the source to and my DH was so distraught. Especially since the next time we saw him he was FINE and my oldest SS said his brother is "over whatever that was and doesn't need any medicine".
I told DH he better call the police this time because I KNOW she will pull some shit. She didnt get her way so shes going to weaponize the kids to hurt my DH.
I told him to also call the kid's school for a number count on how often she pulls them out; to get the number of excused AND unexcused absences. And to call the doctor's office for the number of times she has taken the youngest. Its always him that gets sick and fuck it, I told DH when we eventually take her back to court we play her card and go for allegations of neglect due to how often he gets mysterious illnesses.
Im just pissed. Ive been planning their spring break as Im going to be home and I KNOW HCBM is starting shit.

2023.03.30 16:57 YubYub420 Confusion over deck size
I have never spent real money on this game and I am not deep into metagaming. I just play casually on my phone and on Steam.
But I know that dual-sphere decks require 50 cards while tri-sphere decks require 75 cards. What confuses me is how many players with 100-card decks I face. I have played many other collectable card games and mathematically you typically don't want to surpass the required minimum number of cards. You design your deck to be as strong as you can and keep it as small as possible for consistency. So what am I missing here?

2023.03.30 16:50 Yankee9204 Warning to anyone who paid quarterly estimated taxes in 2022- check your refund!
tldr: The deadline to submit 1st and 2nd quarter quarterly estimated tax payments in 2022 was extended to July 15th 2022, but the Maryland Comptroller's office is seemingly unaware of this and is charging interest to anyone who submitted these estimated taxes after their original due dates of April 15th and June 15th.
I paid quarterly estimated Maryland state taxes in 2022, and filed my return last week. I just received my Maryland tax refund, and noted that it was about $50 lower than it should have been. So I called the Comptroller to find out why, and was told it was an interest charge for a late payment of my 1st quarter estimated taxes. I checked the date that I paid, and it was on May 27th, 2022. This was not late, because
the Comptroller extended the deadline for 1st and 2nd quarterly estimated taxes to July 15th, 2022.
Somehow, the Comptroller's office was not aware of this, and is seemingly charging interest to anyone who submitted their quarterly estimated taxes after the original deadlines of April 15th and June 15th. If that could be you, I would encourage you to call Taxpayer Services to enquire about this (Numbers below), as I highly doubt they will fix this automatically now that they are aware of the problem. The person I spoke with on the phone was very nice and helpful, but she had no idea about this change in law that took place last year.

2023.03.30 16:49 throwaway1111124625 AITA for giving my phone number to a stranger because I’m concerned for their safety?
I (19M), work at a phone repair company in a shopping centre, my manager had a customer (30/40sM) come in and complain about another company for some reason. He also had his daughter with him who had dried makeup running down her face as if she had been crying recently.
While my manager and a former employee were present, customer was harassing his daughter about some people that walked past and said hello. He then claims that she’s lying when she says she can’t remember how she knows them. He now goes on a big tirade about her “lying 24/7” and so on. Asks the former employee if they ‘want her because I don’t’. Asks the same to the manager and then to random passer-by’s . I don’t believe the customer knows either of them.
While manager and customer were talking, I had quickly talked to her privately and asked if she was ok. She said yes but as stated before, she didn’t look ok.
So I gave her my number and said to call if she ever needs anything. I have had bad experiences with my parents in the past so I didn’t want to just do nothing.
A couple minutes later the customer walks back in. (manager had finished his shift by now. I’m now alone). [This is a paraphrase of the conversation that followed. I have high anxiety and mostly blocked out this interaction.]
Customer - you are aware that she’s 13?
Me: No I didn’t.
C: I’m going to have to ask you to delete her phone number. I don’t want strange men having her phone number.
M: that’s completely fine. I understand that. I had no idea that she was underage. I wouldn’t have if I knew. I’m sorry. I’m going to delete it now.
C: thank you. walks off
So Reddit I really need your advice. Was I the AH here? I do know that a 19 year old guy giving their number to a 13 year old girl stranger is absolutely wrong but I wasn’t really thinking about age, more about her safety. Had I known the age, I would’ve said to go to the school guidance counselor or another trusted adult.

2023.03.30 16:47 Tired_Soul_92 Can't get my number to port ot password to save.
I just got my SIM card in the mail and have been following the steps to activate it, but I can't get past transferring my number. Every time I try, it says my number is unsupported. I know others who switched from MetroPCS and didn't have this problem. Metro and Mint both use the T-Mobile network, so I did think it would be fine from that as well.
I don't want to learn a whole new number, but I will if I have to. Just getting it switched at work, doctors, dentists, etc, is going to be a huge pain in the ass. I've also had this number for 6 years.
I did click to contuine with the temporary number, which took me to the screen asking me to fill out a password. The spot for name and email is empty, and I can't add anything to it. I type in a password and hit save, but nothing happens.
It's really frustrating to pay $60 for something thar isn't going to work. My service with Metro ends on the 4th, so now I have to decide if I am going to pay them for another month.
Edit: I've tried going on the website as well, but every time I try to activate the sims, it asks for my phone number and password, which I clearly don't have.

| The Detention Adventure is an interactive Choose Your Own Path story. Each episode, readers vote for the path they would like to take. Together, we will follow the path with the most votes. https://preview.redd.it/yz8y6ct91wqa1.jpg?width=157&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=97960b3b5320321514ef31083525e4434f0fe78a THE STORY SO FAR “It's not fair,” you mumble to yourself as you push the shelving cart down the aisle. Gabe started that fight, but Mrs. Vile, the evil librarian, gave you detention. He should be here, not you. Passing a window, you glance outside. School has only been out for a few minutes. But you’ve been working for ages. Evil Librarian put you to work before the busses pulled out of the drive. But now, you can see the parking lot. Though many of the cars are gone, many of your classmates are still around. Your friends are in their usual spot, gathered around Grayson’s minivan, laughing and smiling. You can imagine what they're saying. "What do you want to do this afternoon?" "Where should we go?" And, of course, Avery would be asking, "Hey. Did anyone catch tonight's math homework?" Your gaze drifts across the parking lot to trees on the far end. Gabe and his buddies are sitting on the curb, passing around their phones. Probably sharing the same viral video Gabe showed you during study hall. The one his buddy posted during lunch. The one that shows you tripping and falling face-first onto your tray of mashed potatoes. The one that doesn’t show Gabe sticking out his foot as you passed. Your blood boils at the thought. "Ahem." You turn at the voice. Mrs. Vile is standing at the head of the aisle, glaring at you over the glasses resting on the tip of her prominent nose. Though she says nothing, you hear her earlier words ringing loud and clear. “You are not dismissed until every book is returned to its proper place.” Saying nothing, you return to your cart and continue pushing it down the aisle. It isn't fair. Why does Gabe get to enjoy a sunny afternoon while you have to re-shelve library books in the darkest recesses of the library? And why are these books even on the cart? It's not like anyone even reads them. You come here every day for study hall and you have never once seen a person holding a book. Students only come in here to use the computers. With a sigh, you glance at the book you are still holding. The number on the spine says it belongs in 615. Where are you, anyway? You glance at the books beside you. 249. Ugh. Where is 615? Tossing the book back on the pile with a sigh, you push the cart to the end of the aisle, where the last call number is 252. Is it your imagination or is it getting darker the further you walk? A shiver runs down your spine and you pull out your phone. "I'm just checking the time," you tell yourself. Yeah, right. You can't hide from yourself. Besides, it doesn’t help. The dim light doesn’t provide much comfort. To distract yourself, you again glance at the books on your cart. Maybe you should have organized them before disappearing into the stacks. If you put them in order, you won't have to zigzag your way through the shelves. Maybe you'll even finish your detention with enough time to enjoy the afternoon sunshine. Bolstered by this idea, you grab two books from your cart and examine the numbers on the spine. 432 definitely goes before 920. Placing the dictionary in front of the biography, you arrange them on the opposite side of the cart and pick up the next two books. It takes hours to sort all the books, though your phone says it has been less than five minutes. Finally, you pick up the last two books. Both books, nearly identical, easily the two largest books on the cart. In fact, each one looks at least twice as large as the next largest books. Curious, you glance at their spines. Fiction, with the same call number. NFR. You frown. You’re no librarian, but your elementary school librarian had drilled the Dewey Decimal System into your head. Fiction books were arranged by author last names. What kind of name began NFR? Intrigued, you turn over the books. Their fabric hardcovers have no illustrations. The only difference between the two books is their color and the gold words stamped on the front cover. The title of one of them catches your attention. Which is it? - The book on your left, a contemporary adventure about camping.
- The book on your right, a fantasy about dragons and elves.
The gold lettering on the black book in your right hand stands out clearly. Adventures In the Land of Dragons and Elves. Curious, you open the front cover. The title is printed in large bold letters on the first page. But no author is listed. Instead, someone has scrawled across the page in large letters: Not For Reading! You frown at the book. That’s stupid. Why would someone write a book that wasn’t meant to be read? Or maybe the person who scribbled the note didn’t want to read it. But why not? What could be so bad? Reading the warning just makes you want to read the book that much more. You turn the page. But, it doesn’t turn. It’s stuck to the next page. And the one beneath that. You end up turning about fifty pages at once. They are glued together. Wow! Someone really doesn’t want you to read this book. Now, of course, you can’t wait to read it. You look at the page in front of you. You might be a couple of chapters in, but maybe you can still get an idea of what the story is about. Except, it’s impossible to read the story. Not only are the rest of the pages glued together, someone cut out a large rectangle nearly the size of the book. This is a hollow book! You’ve heard about these in books and movies. But you never knew they were real. This is so cool. And the best part? It’s not empty. There’s something inside the hole. You glance over your shoulder to make sure Evil Librarian isn’t watching you. She’s not. You’re all alone in the creepy windowless section of the library. Using the flashlight on your phone, you look at the object more carefully. The yellowish white object takes up nearly the entire book. It is thick, almost round, but with a slight curve. The outer edge is smooth, but the inner edge is serrated like the blade of a saw. The points even look as sharp as a saw. Only, the teeth are very small and close together. Teeth. Or rather, tooth. Could this object be a tooth? But what animal do you know has teeth that large? Or with a serrated edge? You have never seen anything like this. You have so many questions. How heavy is it? Is it solid or hollow? Is it really a tooth? What kind of animal could have lost it? You try to read through the text on the facing page, but you are literally trying to start reading a book from the middle. It makes no sense. Who is Olba and Keris? What is a Zayrot or Reiverrirth? And where were Zymmarth or Bryvicri? Trying to read this book was like trying to learn a new language. Now you really wish those pages weren’t glued together. With a sigh, you turn back to the tooth. It’s got to be a tooth. What else could it be? The front of the book said this is a book about dragons. This thing is probably supposed to be a dragon’s tooth. Obviously, it’s not a real dragon’s tooth, because there’s no such thing as dragons. It must be epoxy or something. So, it’s probably a lot flimsier than it looks. Someone has bored a hole through the top of the object, wrapping a black cord around and through it to form a type of necklace. Yeah, it has to be fake. You reach in to grab it, to confirm your suspicions, but you stop abruptly. Your gaze has landed on the words printed at the top of the page. The name of the book is printed in a small font. But someone has written something in the margin. Judging by the handwriting, it was probably the same person who wrote on the first page. But you could have sworn those words were not there a moment ago. You shake your head to clear it. Obviously, your eyes are playing tricks on you. What does it say? You hold your phone a little closer. Warning. Magical Item. Do Not Touch. Biting your lip, you look around. How could a fake dragon tooth’s necklace be magical? Maybe it changes color in the light? You shine your light closer, but it remains the same. Maybe it’s a little less yellow, but you don’t think it really changed color. You glance between the warning and the necklace a few times. Should you pick up the necklace? - You don’t believe in magic. You pick up the necklace.
- It’s best to heed the warning. You leave the necklace where it is.

2023.03.30 16:43 BadgerlordTasso My attempt to solve the Sister Location Conundrum
(I posted this over on Game Theory as well, but... don't know how to Cross post!)
Since the topic of when Sister Location take’s place has come up and is being discussed, I thought I would throw my hat into the ring with my own theory on it. The more I think about it, the less and less it makes sense for SL to be before the first game. For me, the mystery is more about how close to FNAF 3 it takes place, and I think I can give some good evidence that would put Sister Location as a direct prequel to 3, taking place as a lead in to the events of 3. Hear me out.
Molten Freddy and the Missing Children A good part of this theory is based on whether or not Molten Freddy has the original souls (Complete or incomplete) of the 1985 MCI kids inside of him and I think he does. This is alluded to in The Fourth Closet when William Afton melts down the original animatronics and injects them directly into Funtime Freddy. When he injects Carlton with them as well, he’s shown some of the missing children. Fritz, Cassidy, and Suzie. He even interacts with them, they appear to be in a sort of limbo. He convinces them that they shouldn’t be following the bunny man and when he wakes up, Funtime Freddy and Mangle are attacking William, having turned on him suddenly. So thanks to the book, we know that Funtime Freddy also has at least some of the children inside of him. Which brings up the first interesting point.
We are shown that the souls, or part of the souls, of whomever is “trapped” in it can be in multiple places at the same time. In the book we see it’s in F. Freddy, as well as Carlton and probably still more inside the remaining remnant that William was saving for himself. Not only that, it shows that the soul part of one can affect the other. The animatronics turning on William as a result of Carlton talking with them after being injected is proof of that.
We can also see some evidence of this in the games. The Toy animatronics start acting up
before Someone messes with them, and before someone uses the suit in the back. We know that parts were salvaged from the original animatronics to make the new ones. During the later nights in the games it’s shown that not only are the toy animatronics acting funny, the withered animatronics in the back are as well. A.k.a. The original animatronics who have the souls of the children in them. This shows that a soul, or in this case, a part of a soul, can inhabit more than one animatronic at the same time and both be possessed. We also get further evidence of this in the Fazbear Frights books, with multiple pieces of William's agony infecting multiple different objects in a Fazbear Warehouse, creating what eventually becomes the Afton Amalgamation.
Now, for the sister location’s time frame things start to get confusing, so let’s start with some things that we do know.
Dates we know - The first Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza was established in 1983 (Learned from the coins in Help Wanted)
- The second Freddy’s (Toy Location) opened after 1985, since they had to beef up security as a direct results of the MCI
- The Toy Location closed in 1987 because of the bite
- Third Location opened sometime after that, and closed, in 1993
- Fazbear Frights opens in, and is burned down, 30 years later in 2023
William’s Path of destruction - Murders at least 5 kids in the original location in 1985.
- Murders unknown number of kids in the Toy location (Alluded to by Phone guy, someone using the yellow suit)
- Disappears until after the FNAF 1 location closes, where he goes back and destroys the animatronics one by one, lured to him by Shadow Freddy (Still not sure how that works, but goin’ with it)
- ???? (More on this below)
- Get’s himself springlocked, being chased by the ghosts of his past and is locked away in the back room for 30 years
- Phone Dude finds him, places him in Fazbear Frights in 2023 (We found one, a real one!)
There is a small piece of this puzzle that has never made much sense to me though... He destroys the animatronics, most likely to gather their Remnant and use it for his experiments as we see him directly doing in the books. That makes sense (In a FNAF way it makes sense anyway). I also don’t think that this all took place in a single night. He came back night after night, destroying one animatronic after another and taking their remnant, As Henry alludes to in his speech, he took the one thing the children had from them, again. Taking their soul for his own purposes. He took the gift that was given to them by the puppet for himself. I also believe that this happened after the location closed, as it would have been extremely strange to open up in the morning and suddenly animatronics are just… missing and then… continue operations as normal.
He melts the parts he had collected down, extracts the remnant and injects it into Funtime Freddy as part of an experiment (As well as probably all the other Funtime Animatronics not named Baby) But, he saves a little bit for himself. I think he injects himself with it as well in an attempt to become immortal, as he seems to want to do in the book.
After his experiment he goes back to the pizzeria. Now that he’s injected himself, he can see the ghosts of the children. They have more of an influence over him than they ever could before. They chase him down, he gets in the Bunny Suit (Possibly to scare them away? Not sure how that was going to work) and promptly dies due to things on the outside insisting on being on his inside. Only his body dies though, but like we see with Michael later, he isn’t dead thanks to the remnant he injected himself with. There, he’s trapped for thirty years until unleashed upon the world in FNAF 3.
So this is the part that’s bugged me. Why did he go back? He had all four animatronics, why did he need to go back to the pizzeria? Was it to burn the place down to destroy the remaining evidence? Did he want to find Michael? Make sure he didn’t miss anything? I can’t figure it out. This also brings up a bit of an issue with the entire concept of all five children being inside of Molten Freddy… Where is Golden Freddy? We don’t see William destroying him. Put a pin in that, I’ll get to it later as it ties to Michael.
Sister Location and Michael Afton So, how and when does Michael, and Sister Location, come into all of this? I
do think that we play as Michael in every FNAF game, until UCN. I just don’t think he’s a walking corpse until just before the third game. Yes, I know that he was fired for odor but I have a possible explanation for that. That's way more down to earth than “Literal walking corpse.” So let me try and break this down!
Michael, torn apart by guilt on a nightly basis, probably isn’t living his best life. Depression, Anxiety… they do things to ya. Constantly plagued by Nightmares whenever he tries to sleep he’s not getting the rest he needs nor is he taking care of himself. When he learns what his father is doing, it gives him purpose, he has to undo the damage his father has done. Going to as many locations as he can to attempt to free the children, while staying under cover as much as possible so as not to draw the attention of his father.
Once the guard in FNAF 2 is moved to the Day shift, Michael is hired to take his place but is fired the day after that due to “Tampering with the Animatronics, and Odor.” Now I think he was fired primarily because of the former, the latter is not really a reason to get fired. I think it’s really just as simple as he’s not taking care of himself in his personal life. If he’s not getting enough sleep thanks to nightmares he’s probably starting to have psychotic episodes, preventing him from making normal every day decisions, like showering. He’s also around what… 23, 34 at this point? He may honestly even be homeless, unable to shower even if he wanted to. Whatever the case may be, It’s not because he’s dead. Yet.
When the FNAF 1 location opens, he’s surprised by this and applies there once more to see what’s going on. Under a different pseudonym this time. He gets the job and sees immediately that things are just like they were at the last location. He tries to free the animatronics but is unsuccessful as dear old dad is the one that actually takes them out once the location closes after he’s fired for tampering with them, again. This also explains how, if you are caught by the animatronics and stuffed in a suit in Fnaf 1, you die. There is no Remnant to keep you alive.
As an added point, if FNAF 4 takes place during the nights of FNAF 1, and are Michael's Nightmares as he's trying to sleep between shifts, this brings up a couple of strange points. If he is dead, he wouldn't need to sleep, so why would he be having nightmares? They could be hallucinations, but even that doesn't make much sense because of the fact that you are surviving until morning. He would be at the Pizzeria until morning, and home to sleep during the day. I think he's still alive, and his nightmares are what we see in 4, recreating what he's going through during the night shift.
After his firing, one night, a message finds him. It’s from his dad. A message telling him where to go and find his sister. This was William’s contingency plan. In the event of his demise, or capture, he would need someone to set Baby free so that she could find him and save him. Who better than the one person who would be eager to try and put a stop to it all? Michael in his guilt addled mind would want to do anything to help his sister, right?
Michael goes to their old house, something that William made sure was still paid for and not torn down, and finds the location under the house where William told him to go999999999999999999999999999++++ and Sister Location begins. Wackiness ensues, he’s scooped yadda yadda yadda. We now have Ennard in the sewers and a walking talking corpse known as Michael Afton. We get to hear his voice for the first time in the true ending of the game.
“Father, it’s me, Michael. I found them… they were all there. They didn’t recognize me at first, but then… they thought I was you. And I found her! I put her back together, just like you asked me to… she’s free now. But something is wrong with me, I should be dead but I’m not… I’ve been living in the shadows. There is only one thing left for me to do now. I’m going to come find you…” We then see a sign outside of a building that has “Fazbear Frights” on it, as well as a brief appearance from Springtrap himself. This would lead directly into FNAF 3 where we have the first of two (possibly three if we count Security breach?), showdowns between Michael (Now a corpse infused with Remnant) and his dad (Also a corpse infused with Remnant inside of an animatronic rabbit suit)
To me this answers a good amount of the issues that come up if SL is before FNAF 2.
- It seems extremely unlikely that in 1987 or even 93 that someone would hire a security guard without interviewing them first and we didn’t exactly use Skype or Zoom calls back then. They would have noticed something obviously wrong with Michael in person. It makes sense that he’s not dead, yet, in order to get hired.
- You can get away with it in FNAF 3 and 6 as they take place in the present day. Now, I know that FNAF 3 was released in 2015, but even in 2015, we were doing interviews over phones or zoom etc… Hell I was hired by a company via a few skype interviews in 2016 so absolutely possible. Plus even if they did see him the people running Fazbear Frights probably saw it as a bonus that he looks so ghoulish.
- Because we see springtrap directly in the ending, it makes no sense at all to me for this to be before 1, springtrap didn’t exist yet. He wouldn’t be a thing until 2023 when he’s unleashed. So it only makes sense for SL to be not just after Fnaf 1, but many decades after it. Putting it just before FNAF 3, and acting as a natural lead into the third game.
Now... There are a few (ok many) lingering Questions
The Golden Freddy Question So this does bring up one of the things I couldn't figure out for a while, but… may be hinted at by Michael himself. If all five kids are supposed to be in Molten Freddy… How is that possible? We see William destroying only 4 of the animatronics. He never got Golden Freddy. Well... I think he already had him. We get a clue to this in Michael’s Monolog “I found them… They were
all there.” I think Golden Freddy, or in this case its original version, Golden Fredbear, was already in William’s possession and he extracted what he needed from it already. All he needed was the other four. As of FNAF 3, I don’t think Golden Freddy exists in a physical form anymore. Just a spirit, haunting William. That’s how it’s able to always be around, able to stop him from dying in 6 and able to trap him in a purgatory. The Golden Freddy endoskeleton has already been melted down by Wiliam. He just didn’t realize that by injecting himself with the remnant, he was subjecting himself to Cassidy’s wrath.
Now, if William already had Golden Freddy, how did Michael see him? I think that thanks to his lack of sleep, delusional mind, etc… Any time he sees Golden Freddy it’s him seeing a projection of his brother. A possible manifestation of his guilt, or, his brother reaching out to him from a far off location but only able to get through in rare instances. We never actually see Golden Freddy move, he just… is there, and in different forms over the years. We know that the Golden Freddy suit at one point was an actual suit, shown in multiple different places through the books and in the games so it does exist, or did exist, somewhere. But isn’t it odd that with the exception of William… no one else sees Golden Freddy ever again? We don’t see him in 6, or Security Breach. There is a small reference to him in the VR game, but we still don’t see Golden Freddy himself make any appearance. Only Michael and William ever seem to see him through the series, and in different forms.
Heck, in the Fazbear Frights story "The New Kid" We are directly shown that Golden Freddy can manifest a projection of a child that everyone can see, allowing him to lure people back to the suit, which is a physical suit. He's apparently already done it at least once before, and seems to be doing it again at the end of the story.
Happiest Day, or is it? This also brings up the issue with Happiest Day, where the souls of the children were freed in one of FNAF 3’s endings. It’s quite possible that this is not the canonical ending. That, since part of the souls are in William, part are in Michael, and part are in Molten Freddy, they don’t actually get their happiest day until Henry enacts “Operation burn it all down”.
Even that isn’t successful as Cassidy keeps William alive. Michael is gone, Molten Freddy is gone, but parts of the souls of those kids live on in William. Cassidy forces them to hunt William down in an endless series of nightmares in UCN. This is possible due to the fact that because he injected himself with the remnant, they live rent free in his body with him while also keeping him alive, as we see in the Fazbear Frights story, the man in room 1280, a spirit can haunt a body directly.
“He tried to release you… he tried to release us but I won't let that happen. I will hold you here, I will keep you here. No matter how many times they burn us…” There is a chance that part of their souls were released in Fnaf 3. The parts that haunted the original animatronics. All that remains are the parts in MF, William and Michael.
The Survival Logbook This is one thing that seems to contradict pretty much everything I've typed here! In the book, Michael specifically references Sister Location multiple times. The Exotic Butters Basket, Casual Bongos, etc... so that means that when he was filling out this particular book, it had to be after SL. We also see in the book multiple spirits, Cassidy and the Crying child having a slight conversation. So how is this possible?
Well, one simple thing about the book is... we don't know when it was made either. For all we know, this was a book that made in Fnaf 6, and Michael is filling it out as part of his ownership responsibilities at Freddy's Pizza Place.
In Conclusion So that... in a long winded nutshell, is why I think Sister Location takes place as a lead in to Fnaf 3, and the start of the final showdown of the Afton Family. As with all theories, it’s not perfect, there are always going to be plot holes. But for me it solves a lot of little issues I have with SL being before FNAF
I do believe William had created the animatronics before 1987, obviously since his child was murdered by one before he himself was springlocked, they had to be created before that. They just didn’t get their Remnant Infusion until after he destroyed the animatronics later, in 1993.
Hope at least some of this makes sense! I know I ramble a lot. Just had to get it out of my head and out into the world.
Have a Faztastic day Superstars.

2023.03.30 16:42 ace_osian_1312 Possible moral scrupulosity
TW: Mentions of self-harm, suicidal ideation and eating disorders / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / Hello everyone. I'd like to preface the subject of this post with a brief introduction. I'm a 22 year old who has struggled on and off with mental illness since I was 13; this includes but isn't limited to various forms of self-harm, suicidal ideation and an eating disorder. I am NOT currently suicidal or engaging with any eating disorder thoughts or behaviours - they are just examples of prior struggles. I am also autistic with an 'educational' diagnosis of ADHD; I was assessed/screened by the Learning Support department of my former uni, who told me I fit the criteria for ADHD. As they cannot professionally diagnose, I was given an 'educational' diagnosis for the purpose of receiving study support from the university. I am not diagnosed with OCD, but it's something my boyfriend suggested to me before when I told him about a few things I do. I've been lurking this sub for the past few weeks and am finally acting on my temptation to post to this sub. I don't want to label myself with OCD without a diagnosis of some sort (be it official or otherwise), but I feel like if I do have OCD then it falls under two themes: death OCD and moral scrupulosity. The theme I want to discuss here is moral scrupulosity.
A persistent worry of mine is that I'm a bad person. This has plagued me since my teen years, but it's gotten progressively worse as I get older. No matter how many times I've had reassurance/am reassured that I'm not a bad person, I still worry about it. I ruminate on past mistakes I've made and judge myself for poor decisions and nasty things I said as a teen. I wouldn't dream of judging anyone else for their past mistakes (I don't) but I'm always so worried about offending people that I beat myself up whenever I'm off with someone. When I'm upset or worried about something, my thoughts tell me that I'm emotionally manipulating people into feeling bad for me; they kind of argue with themselves. For example: one thought may say "You're emotionally manipulating them into feeling bad for you" while the other is trying to refute this with "No I'm not. That's not my intention." I would never willingly hurt anyone. I crave a moral clean slate. I'm a moral perfectionist with the gnawing guilt that I'm horrible and that everyone will see me for the bad person I am one day. Whenever I've been asked why I believe I'm a bad person, I've been unable to give a straight answer. I just hold myself to such high standards I can never meet - standards I never hold anyone else to. As aforementioned, I don't judge others on their past mistakes but when I make a mistake, I'm less than perfect so I must be bad.
I used to think that this fear of being a bad person started in my late teens; I've since done some reflection on my past and realised that it actually started sooner. When I was 14, I used to write apology letters to my friends. When I was younger, I used to sometimes lie when I feared the truth would get me in trouble. I still do this now to an extent. I had/have the sense to know this is an arse backwards sense of thinking: that lying is actually what can get me in trouble, but I still tell white lies sometimes because I fear being truthful will taint me as bad. As an adult though, I then feel bad for lying and it fuels what I believe to be moral scrupulosity.
When my boyfriend first mentioned OCD to me, I told him that I can't possibly have it because I don't flicker the light switches on and off with the fear that something bad will happen if I don't. My view of OCD was very stereotypical. This was about OctobeNovember last year. Since then, I have done a bit of research into the subject. I've reflected on past/present experiences and through lurking this sub, I've realised that there are many, many themes. I've read posts on this sub that I could've written about myself. I relate to some of the experiences here. I am not trying to diagnose myself and I'm not looking for a diagnosis here. I've had an epiphany since the initial mention that my boyfriend was kind of onto something when he suggested I had OCD. He's no professional of course, though. My behaviours may be explained by OCD or they could be related to some other diagnosis that I haven't considered. In the past month or so, I've developed a new fear that I'm acting 'more' OCD since my boyfriend mentioned it, but I know that's an irrational fear and that I've struggled with these thoughts since before he mentioned it. His suggestion has just provided me with a possible explanation of why I think/act the way I do. I will now describe a few recent examples of incidents I think might be related to moral scrupulosity.
1) I applied for a journalism apprenticeship in January and progressed to stage 2 of the selection process, which was an online assessment. Whilst waiting to hear back from the organisation, I had an email that told me I didn't complete the online assessment. It was a definite mistake on their part because the email also had the wrong location I applied for. So I figured there was some mix up. I emailed the organisation explaining what happened and asked for some clarification. I received a reply shortly after that explained they did in fact receive my online assessment and that yes, the email naming the wrong location was a mistake. No big deal. However by the time I received that email clarifying the situation, I didn't even care about the apprenticeship anymore. I had started worrying that my email asking for clarification was actually me kicking up a fuss and making a stink. I worked myself up into such a worry that I started doing compulsive behaviours to try alleviate my guilt. I tried rotating my phone x amount of times before doing things I'd never done before, like flicking the light switch on and off x number of times. Doing this convinced me that I was then faking the whole thing; that I'm only acting and thinking like this since OCD was brought up last year. I was trying so bad to satiate the guilt and nothing was working. The thing with the light switches was a new behaviour that just occurred to me as something I needed to do at the time; rotating my phone isn't a new behaviour. I do it whenever I 'pick my phone up wrong'. I sometimes feel like I don't do things right, as in it doesn't feel right when I brush my teeth, pick up my phone, etc.
2) I had an argument with a mate because we both caught each other at the wrong time. We were both in a bad mood for whatever reason and it lead to us snapping at each other. I'm an irritable person anyway, but most of the time I think I keep it contained. I do snap at people when I'm in a bad mood but I think that's just being human. We both apologised and the argument was resolved, however I immediately started beating myself up about it after the interaction had ceased. I tried doing things to alleviate the guilt again including flicking the light switches on and off. Like before, none of it worked. Whenever I'm off with people, I worry that they're gonna start hating me because I've exposed myself for the horrible person I am. When I'm not in one of these episodes, I have the mental clarity to acknowledge that my worries are irrational but it always feels real at the time. I always manage to convince myself that I'm horrible.
3) This morning, I had a spontaneous phone call from the recruitment manager of a company I applied for. It completely caught me off guard but I was told that I came across very well. I struggle to think on the spot so I feel like coming across well during a spontaneous phone interview is an achievement in and of itself. The phone call ended with an invitation to an open day at the office on Monday morning because they want to meet me as soon as possible. This was exciting to hear, but the excitement only lasted for about a minute or two. As always, my fear of being a bad person found a way to spin things into a negative. I started worrying that I lied to make the recruitment manager like me, and I told myself that I'll turn up to the office on Monday and they won't actually like me because they'll see me for the horrible person I actually am. It's apparently not possible for me to achieve something at the minute without convincing myself that I actually had an underlying motive of masking as a good person.
As stated earlier in this post, I have been worrying that I'm a bad person for years. It's just got more severe as I've got older because I've made more mistakes and therefore have more to ruminate on and feel guilty for. I also have more adult responsibilities to fulfill, so I feel like the stress of everyday life is why my moral perfectionism is getting worse. I think it's moral scrupulosity but I don't want to put a definitive label on it. I'm currently awaiting my second appointment with the mental health team I was referred to, and I'm hoping they can either tell me what I experience is OCD or tell me it's explained by another mental health condition. I don't mean to sound like I want to have OCD, because I don't. What I'm trying to say is that if what I'm experiencing is due to OCD, I would rather know sooner than later so I can learn how to live with it. Or, if I don't have OCD then I want to know what it is I am suffering with that's making me feel so worthless. In the mean time, I'm posting to this sub for advice I suppose. I don't want a diagnosis but I would like to know how I can live with the persistent worry of being a bad person. I can only apologise for the length of this post. If you've managed to get this far, thank you so much for reading.

2023.03.30 16:42 BadgerlordTasso My Attempt to solve the Sister Location Conundrum
