My husband lately has been changing a lot. He is difficult to talk to and it seems like every time I bring up anything that isn’t something he is 100% interested in he will not even try to acknowledge the conversation. His reply when I bring it up will be something along the lines of “that was your conversation” or “I wasn’t talking about that, you were”. It’s making me feel really dejected. I try to talk to him about how these things make me feel and it doesn’t go anywhere. He tells me that he treats me how I treat him and I honestly don’t treat him in such a manner. I always find something to say about whatever he is speaking of even if it’s not something I’m passionate about because he will get mad if I don’t. Honestly I think if I treated him how he treats me he would be pissed.
He is also becoming less and less empathetic towards me. He tells me I’m annoying and has started to use words like nagging/bitching to describe when I try to speak to him about issues I see. He even told me at one point in an argument that he felt like hitting me, which obviously scared me and raised red flags.
He also use to never want to go out and do anything, but now he is going somewhere or making plans with people all the time, he is always honest and upfront about what he is doing and who he is with and will even invite me most of the time, but that means bringing the kids and watching them while he does what he wants. This weekend it’s skateboarding… it really hurts my feelings cause every time I suggest we do something he turns it down. Even if it’s just going to the store. “Cause it’s not something he wants to do and it’s boring and stressful with the kids”. He will only want to go if he wants something in that moment (like legos) and usually will make me run by myself for snacks or drink. If I refuse he wastes money on Uber and although we can afford snacks sometimes, we can’t afford Uber every time.
He never wants to do anything I want to do. It’s always what he wants or nothing. I like staying in and playing video game, but not every day. I’m a SAHM and want to go out on the weekends with him and the kids, but apparently going out with the kids to things that are child appropriate is to boring and stressful and not fun enough for him.
It sucks being home all the time, but he insists that I have no reason to feel that way and I have it lucky cause I get to just laze about all day and do whatever I want and he would love to switch positions with me. We have two kids who are homeschooled. I don’t get much opportunity for anything, but he thinks I have all the free time in the world.
I’ve tried so many times to bring these things to attention and try and resolve them, but it seems like every time it just turns into an argument. I don’t know where exactly the communication break down starts, but it happens every time without fail.
I brought up the fact that we might not be compatible anymore and he got really upset and told me he didn’t want me to go, but I’m really struggling to find reasons to stay lately. I love him a lot, but I’m starting to not like our relationship.

This raises a concern for me as someone who has made a voron v0.1 with a sub 4min benchy as I know from person experience that those values will change based on what surface you have the printer sitting on, for example if you have a printer ontop of a wobbly ikea lack it would be different from if you had it onto of a sturdy workbench so I was wondering if anyone had any insight on how they are planning to work around this.

Recently, I used associative remote viewing (ARV) to help me with my maths test. It was a last ditch effort in order to save my grades since I hadn't studied at all. It was also an experiment for myself to see ARV's potential for practical applications.
Here's how it worked:

In the prompt section, I asked:
"What will be the correct answer to question 1 in my maths test which takes place on the 23rd of march, 2023?" I didn't bother trying to get too specific with the prompt, as I believe it's more about the intention.

The generator then corresponds each answer to an image and generates me a target ID. I view the target using the ID. Whichever of the 5 images I end up viewing is the answer to my question (I can click the image and it shows me the corresponding letter).
I repeated the process with question 2, then 3 and so on.
The results:
I got my mark back today, it was 8/10. Now that's pretty incredible considering I had like no clue about any of the maths on that paper. It was literally all gibberish to me.
Well, so what? I could've just guessed them all correctly. Not really.
There's a 1 in 5 chance that I guess the answer right for each question. There are 10 questions. Using some maths that I actually know this time, that gives me roughly a 1 in 13,000 chance of guessing 8/10 of them right.
It was quite a short test and I don't think I'd be too keen on viewing like 30 different targets for a bigger one. Obviously, this method only works for multiple choice.
And of course, don't take my word for it, try it yourself!

So I finally got a carrier and decided to give laser mining a go, something I've never really put much effort into before (I've done a bunch of core mining in my earlier days). I bought a Python and outfitted it using Down to Earth Astronomy's Python build because he says it's more enjoyable than bigger ships and because I haven't unlocked a Corvette or Cutter yet, so my bigger option is an Anaconda or Type 9 I guess. Below is a link to my Python build.
Currently I can fill up the 192 tons of cargo hold in about 30 min, sometimes less and sometimes more, so if selling this at 250,000 per ton I make about 50 million for 30 min on a good run.
During my mining runs I head to the triple hot spot and start prospecting a rock. This is where I'm not sure what I should prioritize, whether high % with low content is better than lower % with high content. From experience I feel like high % is better so I always go for rocks that have 40% or higher even if it says "low". The low/medium/high variation doesn't seem provide that much difference, is that true? I find that for the rocks I select (every 3-5 rocks I consider a "good" one in that location) I get maybe average of 10 tons of platinum (roughtly). If it's a great rock it's in the high teens, if it's a poor one it's under 10. I'm not sure if I should be picky about the rocks and spend more time prospecting, holding out for the 40% plus ones, or if I should just keep my limpets busy all the time. It seems like sometimes my limpets get too busy going too far and they become the bottleneck.
With the DTEA Python build I first had a fuel scoop, but then I replaced it with another size 3 limpet controller because I'm just going back and forth to a carrier. I noticed that my limpets can hardly keep up with my lasers and collect all the fragments, and I often wait a minute or so for all the rest of the fragments to be collected. My PD allows me to run the laser continuously, I just can't collet all of it fast enough.
Is keeping the fragments from spreading around too much the key to good Chour, so that you don't spend too much time waiting for limpets? I find that if you shoot at just the right angle and the asteroid is standing still, the fragments stay in one place in front of you and the limpets collect them faster. I know you're supposed to shoot at the bottom of the asteroid and make the fragments go down below you a little so the limpets have a shorter trip, so I try to do that. This is easier when the rock is not spinning, but then I don't know how much time is too much prospecting when you also have to skip the spinning rocks that might have high %.
I'm looking for low-hanging fruit tips on how I can improve yield, e.g.:
- Switch from the Parrot's Head triple hot spot to a High/Haz resource site in the bubble (any suggestions, and do I have to watch now for whether it's pristine etc. do I have to make sure to mine in Solo mode?)
- Change up anything on my Python, will switching to an Anaconda build help appreciably? I will unlock a Corvette eventually and a Cutter later but I'm looking for short term suggestions)
- Change up my technique, only pick certain rocks etc.?

I tried the carnivore diet for 30 days and just wanted to share my experience with it.
I heard about this diet helping with autoimmune diseases so I decided to try it out and I have been pretty satisfied with the results. I feel I have more energy than I used to before I tried this. Lost about like 8-10 pounds that I gained from the prednisone that I have been taking and noticed my joint pain has gone significantly down, probably from a 7/10 to around a 2/10. I’m a lot more mobile and able to lift heavier than I used to. One thing I was worried about was my blood pressure since it was usually high but since I’ve started this diet I have been able to maintain a healthy blood pressure. Definitely worth trying and seeing how your body responds if nothing else is working for you. I think the main thing is the amount of sugar it cuts out of your diet.
If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask! Or if you want some sources I built my diet (from a doctor) I would be happy to supply that as well but just wanted to share something that seems like it’s working for me that might work for someone here.

I'm working on a bomb defusal game which requires many connections to my devboard in order to receive data on switch states, button presses, etc. and im starting to run out of pins. My initial plan was to make it modular, Ive prototyped "challanges" on seperate breadboards so they can be connected to the main board on need. I've used to learn about CAN networks during one of my courses and it seems like a great solution to handle a high number of these modules a time. Hi all.
I'm a postdoc with my funding. I decided to work in this lab because the PI said they are the best in RNAseq in their area and I wanted to focus on sequencing. The problem is that the only person in the lab apart from me is an Assistant professor who bullies me from day 1.
Once she gave me expired buffers and my mini preps were coming out without DNA. I've done thousands of those before and always had good results. She didn't let me buy a new kit and said that if I can't do it with the materials we have (making all the buffers from scratch is because I'm not good enough). The PI said why are you wasting your time just order the kit. I was new so I didn't want to argue.
She also pursues me around the lab saying things like why were you not here yesterday or why don't you work on weekends. Once I explained to her that I have a small baby and I can't hire nannies all the time to which she said I should work on weekends because she also has her dog which is her baby and she works. Note that this person is not my boss or supervisor. And when I asked my boss about it he said she shouldn't be making these comments.
Once I was reading a book about a protocol and she came and said "you should read this book to see if you are capable of learning something". I stayed quiet, I'm one of the main authors of that book.
My problem is I need to learn how to do the RNAseq experiments and she is the only one who can explain but she gave me an old paper and refuses to share the protocol with me. Today I came earlier so she could "teach me" and she basically told me to sit in a chair near her bench but doesn't show me what she is doing, just mixing stuff and doing the experiment while I'm there looking at what? I asked if I could take a picture of the protocol she is using which is different from the one she gave me and she said no because that is hers. I said, "but you are supposed to be teaching me, no?".
It's a constant fight and my PI doesn't say anything to her because she is his slave who is in the lab 24/7. He told her specifically to teach me and she didn't answer him just turned her face.
I tired to ask what is the problem and why she doesn't want to teach me but she is not capable of dialog she just starts saying things I can't understand honestly (maybe they are in another language?) and doesn't say why. I would accept the "I'm too busy right now."
I think this behavior is abhorrent and this person doesn't deserve to be called a professor.
My doctor said I should quit because my levels of cortisol are very high all the time.
My therapist which I started using because of this job also has the same opinion.
Should I just quiet quit? Or quiet quit?

Took an antique muzzleloader shotgun to a gunsmith yesterday for an appraisal, had both hammers down when I handed it to him, recalled when I got home that he had set both hammers to half cocked before returning it to me, almost like the last deliberate step in a process.
Didn’t think to ask him about it at the time, but is that how you’re supposed to have the hammers set when storing/not in use? Thought maybe theirs some technical reason behind it, like less pressure on the inner mechanisms so they don’t wear down over time or something.

Being genuinely unattractive is just not fair . I’m a 20 year old women and I’ve always been directly or indirectly told that I’m ugly I was bullied and outcasted for it when i was younger and now I’m just avoided by people and given looks of disgust by people when they pass by me. I catch myself on instagram looking at other girls who are similar to me in terms of race/ethnicity and age and I wonder why do they get to be attractive and liked and they have comments of people uplifting them and men also calling them pretty in the comments, whenever I would post my face on instagram people would just use that photo to make fun of me for it and just laugh with their friends because of how ugly I looked in it and that didn’t stop until I was 17 which was the last time I posted my face on instagram. I haven’t had much luck with men at all, the one time a rumour spreads that I like someone he takes it as a personal offence and calls me ugly in every way possible and he himself was made fun of just because people thought I liked him, I think men in general just get offended for even being in there presence because I’m ugly and not surprisingly I’m still ugly in make up. I just don’t understand why people take it upon themselves to make your life a living hell if they think that you’re ugly even family does that. I see my sister who’s growing up to be good looking especially when I see how photogenic she is and usually people talk about how the older sister is the attractive one and the younger is the smart, she has both and I have neither but I’m happy for her because she deserves to have it better than I have . I’m still privileged in many ways but just the way I’ve been treated for being ugly just causes me depression. WHY IS LIFE SO UNFAIR.
