The dog was barking at her husband's frantic attempts to extinguish the toaster, but Lulu was determined to have a productive, happy day. God help her. She was fiercely writing a grocery list.
"How do you stop spelling "bananas"?! She yelled in frustration as her husband passed by on his way out the front door with the flaming toaster.
"Where were you when that song came out?!" He yelled as he made a hasty exit.
"This shit is bananas..." she murmured to herself until she got to the spelling instructions, punctuated by the beat of her husband trying to smother the toaster fire with a shovel outside. She heard her neighbors talking to him. Great. Well, maybe this would stop them from gossiping about the Christmas Lights Incident anymore.
Her son called and said that he and his wife couldn’t come to lunch because the bus had turned into a spaceship, and there was just no way the driver was qualified to fly it. She told him that marijuana was illegal, but he said that he already knew.
Her husband left for work. She walked to the grocery store down the street ferociously, each step stomped with such energy that she scared the homeless people. No matter what happened, there was going to be corned beef and cabbage, damn it. And a completely unreasonable quantity of mint chocolate chip ice cream, because it was on sale.
She returned to find a sternly written warning from the Home Owner's Association taped to the front door. This happened a lot. She wasn't 100% clear what rule the toaster fire fell under, and apparently, the HOA board wasn't, either. If they had been, it would've been another fine.
Someone called her 11 times in a row, but she got dinner in the crock pot. By the time she picked up, her husband said that the doctor was sure his finger could be reattached.
"Don't worry about waiting around the hospital. The surgery will take hours," he said. Nevertheless, she first prepared herself through a generous application of her hot pink sparkly tactical blush, then went to the bus stop.
A disheveled young man tried to rob her on the bus, but she told him she didn't have time for that crap today. She recommended a good community college program that had helped her nephew get a fantastic job working with computers. He was so confused that he just got off at the next stop. He would forever remember it as the day a hooker turned his life around.
Three days later, she and her husband arrived back home with all their fingers. The neighbor she had texted had put out enough food and water for their dog to last a month, Lulu was relieved to see. She'd worried about that hyper little fluff ball. They could smell burned corned beef before they even opened the door. The house was as foggy as a speakeasy, so Lulu aired it out. She scrubbed the crock pot for ten minutes.
She prepared them two bowls of mint chocolate chip ice cream for their next meal.
"This is kinda fun. I like this better than if we'd had that corned beef," her husband chivalrously declared.
She laughed, simply happy that he could hold a spoon at this point.
"You know, I do, too."

The first serpentine dragon form he was going to work on was a variant of river drake. Preferring as always to grow and change existent creatures rather than make new ones from raw mana, Mordecai sent his mind searching among the small creatures that had become part of their ecology. Snakes were obvious choices, as well as most lizards, but less reptilian creatures could work as well.
True Dragons were not mammals, birds, reptiles, or any other common animal type. Yet all of those and more were capable of becoming draconoids, and the draconoid races often had some potential to evolve into True Dragons. So what made the difference? How did things that were not related species become related species like that?
As far as Mordecai could tell, it was a case of a faith-like interaction with a concept that every sentient race held. It reinforced itself as well, for True Dragons certainly would always claim that they could recognize another True Dragon compared to a mere draconoid, and for something like this they counted as being on the ‘mortal’ side of the equation. It probably didn’t hurt that the primary creator deity of this reality was a dragon, creating a very strong focal point of the concept of dragon.
It didn’t take him long to find a selection of animals that resonated positively with the concept he had in his mind, and he drew those creatures to the fifth floor. It didn’t matter that they were not all the same species, the transformations would fix that. Changing a creature was magnitudes easier than creating one, and reforging them into being the exact same species was only a little harder than starting with the same base.
The biggest issue with starting from scratch was not the physical structure, that was only a little bit harder than creating some of the items available as treasures. No, it was holding everything together at the same moment and filling it with synchronized animus and spirit while kick-starting every single chemical process at once in proper harmony. He had vague memories of having tried this before, just enough to have been left as a warning of ‘don’t do this’ by his more complete self.
Oh, if he wanted constructs or something relatively simple, creatures that had animus but not true life and spirit, those weren’t too hard. The bookwyrms and biting words were examples of that. Though creating constructs might become harder soon if his suspicions were right. Well, he’d have to wait and see on that.
These thoughts only took a portion of his concentration as he reworked his volunteers to match his vision. For these river drakes he used a classic sea serpent/leviathan model, a long sinuous body with various frilly fins running along its length, a narrow head and snout with sharp teeth at one end and a flat tail for speed and maneuverability at the other. But that wasn’t enough to make them a real threat to travelers, even if they were three feet long.
The first customization he made was some minor chameleon abilities. Nothing magical in this case, just the same ability to subtly shift the structure of their scales to reflect different colors of light that many normal creatures had, if slightly more efficiently designed. The effects were enhanced by the fact that the waterways were going to be filled with floating motes of light, making it hard to accurately measure depth and distance by vision alone.
And of course, any quality drake needed an important draconic feature, a Breath Weapon. In this case, he gave them a powerful, narrow jet of water that could pierce many materials as well as potentially knock foes back.
Now for mobility. They were already great swimmers of course, but he wanted more than that. He’d already made sure their scales and skin wouldn’t dry out easily, now he gave them a minor flight ability. It was closer to being a magically enhanced jump with a little bit of levitation for extra distance and a soft landing, and just a tiny bit of mid-air guidance. They could do this from water or land, and they had the sharp teeth and powerful snake-like musculature to act as constrictors, though they were too small to do so to a typical humanoid. Their land speed was pretty comparable to most snakes as well, though their side fins interfered somewhat.
There was a final important touch that wouldn’t affect anything in the immediate future but would come into play when they had more levels. These two to three-foot-long drakes were juveniles for the species he had designed, and he would be creating habitats for their later life stages as the dungeon gained more levels, and eventually some spawning grounds back in the hidden pools along with a way for them to get there in their adult forms.
Mordecai now turned his attention to the second serpentine form he wanted for this floor. Winged Serpents. Oh, not actual Couatl, these were not divine creatures after all, but he modeled them on the famous celestial serpents, giving their snake-like bodies both rainbow-colored feathers and scales as well as growing a pair of powerful, wide wings. They wouldn’t be able to soar the skies elegantly, but what they needed was maneuverability and the ability to leap upward in a quick burst.
Instead of free-roaming creatures like the river drakes, he made these pack hunters, and created a special mushroom for their nests: These were low, squat structures that grew from the ceiling, with a structure that was soft enough for tunnels to be chewed into it, but with enough tensile strength to continue to cling to the ceiling so long as the tunnels were not excessive.
From either these nests or from the tops of the mushroom trees they could keep watch for potential prey, and called out to each other with ultrasonic cries to communicate, the tones too high for most creatures to hear. They also used a separate set of clicks in that range for echolocation, allowing them to ‘see’ no matter how dark their environment was.
In order to capitalize on this, he gave them a pair of abilities. The first was a simple globe of darkness spell, about 40 feet in diameter that they could cast on an area about once an hour. This was readily countered with any sufficiently strong light-themed spell, but it could still cause problems for unprepared groups.
The second ability was related, but not so easily countered. Once a day, they could release a billowing cloud of dark ‘smoke’ from underneath their scales. This was a chemical reaction instead of a spell, and was a strong irritant to most species, creating effects not unlike that of pepper oil. The combination made it hard to see them and was extremely distracting, but also shorter-lived than the darkness spell. This was generally going to be used to enable the winged serpent to escape when injured.
Their primary combat ability was a poisoned bite. These were ambush predators, and typically would dive in on prey and deliver several bites before retreating, and would repeat the tactic as needed. And for a final touch, he gave them a razor-sharp tail tip, more than capable of flaying flesh and enabling them to eat prey in pieces, unlike a snake.
Now, he knew what he wanted to do for the two ‘warring’ factions already, but the ‘wildlife’ didn’t feel quite fleshed out yet, and he wanted to nail that down first. Well, he had water and air covered, and the warring factions would cover the surface of the land well enough, so why not something from underground?
While snakes could fulfill this role too, Mordecai felt that it would be overdoing it at this point. And definitely nothing plant-like, he’d done enough with the mushroom already. So a burrowing animal of some sort. Hmm. Let's see what his options were.
Well, no burrowing birds, he already had a flying challenge in a dense forest, he didn’t need more. Rabbits and polecats have been used in other levels already before even considering what his warring factions were going to be like. In the end he had two choices he liked, and decided that the mammal would probably work better with the warring factions, so he developed the other into a proper predator instead.
Not that it wasn’t already, but it was a little small for humans, and he could make some other improvements as well. Mordecai began channeling magic into a selection of trap door spiders to enlarge them to about the size of a horse and set to work ‘improving’ them. The first step was to make their poison more potent, namely into a mix of paralytic agents and digestive enzymes. Then he enhanced their silk weaving abilities, giving them different web types by adding ‘normal’ webs, thrown net-webs, and the ability to lay out sensory threads on the ground in addition to using webbing to reinforce their layers and create the trapdoors.
Of course, having them only use ground lairs would be boring. So Mordecai made sure they could dig into some of the larger mushroom trees to create lairs there too. Getting through this floor was going to require some proper paranoia. Now, while both the river drakes and the feathered serpents were going to be able to come in great numbers, the giant spiders were tougher foes, so he was going to limit them to hunting in pairs. This still wasn’t normal spider behavior, but that would help make things creepier and keep people on their toes.
He had a nice selection of fungal hazards and dangerous creatures, so now it was time to start working on the two war camps and their denizens.

Had a DS that looked like Dolph Lundgren, was a Blue Cord wearer. One of the meanest, but fairest dudes you could ever have the privilege of being destroyed by. I remember the day before range day, he was instructing us on M2 ops. We were on the drill pad under the starships watching in awe, when the bolt slammed forward on his finger. I remember the man never winced, groaned, complained or uttered a word. He pulled the charging handle back, removed his decimated finger, and continued instructing as he pulsed blood on the floor. I ran into him three years later at Ft. Carson, in the PX. We were both getting haircuts of all things, and I had the stones enough to approach him and remind him of the insane happenings. He remembered quite well lol.

My partner is 19FTM 5”5 160lbs no testosterone no ftm medicine currently. They went to the doctor two days ago. I was getting live updates of what the doctor said and I did confirming it with my partner. Currently he would be the one posting on here but he is not coherent enough to be texting currently and I got his permission to do this. While he tried to nap this off to smooth our fears. So I am texting on his behalf. my partner went in for a suspected hernia because I did notice a lump in their stomach. Before going in I was worried it maybe strangled because of the pain complaint so i softly massaged it back into the abdomen. As soon as I felt a little pop of it going back in pain seem to dissipate a little bit but still went to their primary physician. Doctor said it wasn’t a hernia that it was tissue sticking out of the weak part through the muscles which right there already made me baffled. I told my partner to ask more questions, and he didn’t get very far with that. Whatever we trust the doctor and that’s where I screwed up my partner mentioned having headaches so the doctor prescribed 25mg of topiramate. OK I know it’s an anticonvulsant usually used for seizures and offsetting migraines. That’s OK. The doctor said it was to help with his MDD with psychotic tendencies mood swings and their migraines. Odd never heard of it being prescribed that way, but I just assumed it was off script (but was never informed of that). Seeing as a doctor did not mention any major side effects or concerns when my partner asked about it we assumed that it was a relatively safe medicine although I did have my worries because I did vaguely remember hearing that it could cause memory loss and my partner already kind of suffers from memory loss, (I listen to doctor podcast and medical case studies for fun so I knew of it but not really) no diagnosis on it just random symptoms that they have including memory loss suspected PCOS but not confirmed just listing out these just in case it may help but that is not why the medication was prescribed. Well the doctor told him to take it when they felt a migraine coming on and then if it didn’t work take it two hours later again OK well I go and buy my partners medicine for them you know trying to be nice and it says take one tablet by mouth for two weeks, then increase to take one tablet by mouth twice a day Odd, but seeing as the doctor gave very precise instructions, they went based off the doctors instructions and took one waited 2 hours took another one and went to sleep easy Peezy no problem may be a bit of odd mood swings but not much. Until they took it today on my birthday I mention it’s my birthday so you understand that I’ve been with my partner since the beginning of this day he was awake all day and active in celebration which is till now 3:33 AM. And also let me warn you that the only warning on this bottle says may cause drowsiness, dizziness, alcohol and marijuana may intensify this effect. (They don’t smoke pot and drink alcohol rarely and never very drunk drinking more of a like the flavor so sip sip done drinking). Use care when operating a vehicle vessel, boat, or machinery, and the piece of paper that came with the medicine bag doesn’t give any information it says that we are suppose to get a pamphlet. We never got a pamphlet, nor was it offered and the Hyppa agreement was never signed either at the bottom of that paper. Real odd because I did a little bit of digging and knowing that this medicine has a lot more side effects and had a lot more warnings on the Internet if I had only known, there were so many more that I did not know my partner went from a sweet may be a little bit of an airhead reserved respectable man and into what seemed to be a drunken hysterical psychotic person, switching from high to low to numb back to high. Constantly sweating and sprinting everywhere. Grabbing onto me aggressively then suddenly dead panning away. They seem to want to end it all because they laughed at a fart joke and said that they shouldn’t have laughed at such a horrible joke, which, in my opinion it wasn’t and then started degrading themselves viciously. They then started to profusely, just sob, and then static then stop again and then hysterical, manic laughter. And my partner has only had two episodes ever that were like (which were Lows where they just quiet cried and once screamed at the sky ) this and they were brought on by high intensity stress. Now that the medicine has started to wear off, they admitted to me that they were not stressed about my birthday or anything, when this suddenly struck. They also had a almost impossible time differentiating between reality in their delusions, and they have never ever ever had a problem of disorienting between reality and delusions. They also seemed to suddenly have picked up OCD tendencies out of nowhere having this extreme, strong, intense urge to find exactly replica cans of some kind of drink that we were getting, and I don’t mean the same color in size I mean, no dents, facing forward in the same aisle within the same conformed group same brand, same name, same texture And I can tell you my partner is the least OCD person I have ever met and this is coming from someone with OCD. They will dump all their colors. They will sleep with Mitch matched blankets and they cannot understand why I lock the door three times over so it’s not like they had OCD and it just suddenly came out like peekaboo. They also suddenly had the hardest time peeing. We thought it was a UTI because recently they had taken a UTI test because they couldn’t P but nothing as we delve deeper into possible side effects all of these a line with side effects from this medicine, some common some rare, but just all of a sudden they were showing OCD tendencies they were sounding like they were drunk I made him do it stroke test the past fine besides the slurred speech they were stumbling around they were unable to stand upright even for a moment. They were having high low, numb, high low, numb cycles that even I cant keep up with in that were way beyond his usual. They became 20,000 times more degrading and suicidal. Their delusions were impossible to tell from reality. They’re eyes suddenly became incredibly dilated to where I could only see a sliver of the blue. I’m sorry if I’m missing some details I’ll edit them in but like I said it is 3:30 AM and I am just watching my husband sleep because I am so terrified he won’t go to the ER. He won’t go to the hospital and I will be assisting him in calling his doctor tomorrow when this medicine has worn off by then.
My question is what is this drug? What is it meant for mostly? What are the worst symptoms possible for it and if possibly allowed on the sub, Reddit do normal doctors prescribe this like a normal basis because it seems pretty dangerous to me? I will admit the doctor did not disclose any of the side effects even when I asked if this was a routine, drug and stuff like that. also, I looked through the rules but my brain is so scattered from the events of today that I may have overlooked one if I broke any rules I’m so sorry.

I am currently reading the original run of TASM and Im on #52. I do plan on keep reading it but I would like to read specific issues of the run and the other ongoing spinoffs. I would like to read the Secret Wars arc, the Hobgoblin arc, Kraven's last hunt, Peter Parker The spetacular spider man #99 and #100 which is the origin of the Spot.
But I'm worried I may mess the continuity in my head because of Peter's personal life. On the Issue I amin every issue there is evolving of the Peter-MJ-Gwen situation and if this continues like this, I couldn't Imagine myself reading single issues because I would only understand the superhero part, and not Peter's part.
Help?
