I'll give some more info here. Im the only IT guy in the company. So everything even related to computers, they'll call me to try to fix it.
I have only 1 person to discuss anything IT related to, and thats in fact the manager itself. He is kinda in charge of ANYTHING technical.
I started in this company, with 0,5 years exp, at 14,7 an hour. Raised to 15,7 an hour after a half year, and after a year i sit at 17,3.
Now with the 2 year mark, I asked to get 20 an hour, so that should be 3400 brut.
Atm, im 'arbeider', but they are talking about changing it to 'bediende' so I can work some more in the weekends, which I asked.
Most of my time, im developing custom software, to enhance the workflow.
There are 0 deadlines, which is kinda amazing to me, allowing me to keep alot of my sanity.
I'm actually looking for some perspective really.
After this pay raise is going through, it shouldnt go up anymore for at least 2 years, they arent doing yearly pay raises for anyone they said.
I know that this situation is kinda off, and unique, but still.
Besides the pay that im kinda conflicted on, and the trade off of not having any benefits at all, which im actually okay with, since there are no deadlines.
The point is really, im okay with not making 'millions', and im okay with being under the average scale, but i dont think i could live with having barrel level pay.
Im just really curious about opinions, and some guidelines with this giving situation, what would be an okay prospect for future raises, like how much increase per year, or 2 years idk.
My sincere gratitude for reading this, and giving me some insight if possible!

2023.06.09 15:59 Merlot1542 Sudden Mysterious Account Suspension

Hello.
I have been using Lootup from about 6 months now without any issue. I don't do a lot of offers, but I try to stay active on the website each month. I have had a very good experience with the service up to this point, and never had any issue making withdrawals. After completing a mobile offer within the last couple of days, I checked to see if the points were pending as usual from the lootup mobile app for Android. Everything looked fine, and my points were pending as expected. However, when I attempted to sign in later via web browser (from the same WiFi network in my home), I received a notification saying that my account was suspended.
I filed a support ticket, but I really didn't know what to say other that what I have mentioned here. I don't have multiple accounts. I don't use a VPN for offers. I log in using my home WiFi, so there shouldn't be multiple IP addresses either. I don't have any referrals on my account, and I just don't understand what could have triggered this sort of suspension.
Does anyone have any experience with how to go about getting an account reinstated, aside from the support ticket? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

2023.06.09 15:38 wallitv First time traveler looking for tips

Okay so my last post was a bit too vague i suppose. Thats on me!
I am looking for any and all advice you are willing to offer to me. What is the cheapest but best packing products youve experienced? What are some good tips on fitting everything into a carry on and personal item, or should i just go with a check bag? Or do all three? Anything random tidbit you would recommend?
Some context: I will be traveling from USA to UK for 3 weeks. Im going to be visiting my gf and her family, staying in a caravan (its a mobile home but they kept calling it a caravan). Ive never flown outside of the US before and the one time i was on a plane i was like 7 and it was for a wedding in Vermont so my experience with travel has never really reached out of the state i live in.
I can imagine we will be walking around a lot, i already have a small messenger bag i take with me everywhere that i use as a purse so that is the only piece of luggage i have atm. The trip is two months from now so i dont have too many detail on what we will be doing but there has been talk of going to the beach, aquarium, museums, and restaurants. There is apparently a washer and dryer so i assume i should pack for like a week and a half and reuse my clothes, yeah?
Im really just looking for tips and advice in general, sorry for the confusion in my last post. Lmk what else im missing and ill try to fill it in in the comments.

2023.06.09 15:16 juhi_Blueberry_2219 Telephysiotherapy: Revolutionizing Physical Therapy

In recent years, the field of physical therapy has undergone a transformative shift with the advent of tele-physiotherapy. This innovative approach utilizes technology to deliver physiotherapy services remotely, revolutionizing the way patients receive care. In this article, we will explore the concept of tele-physiotherapy, its benefits, how it works, and its various applications. So, let's dive in!

1. Introduction

Physical therapy plays a crucial role in helping individuals recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall well-being. Traditionally, patients would visit a physiotherapist in person for evaluation and treatment. However, with advancements in technology,tele-physiotherapyhas emerged as a convenient alternative.

2. What is Telephysiotherapy?

Telephysiotherapy, also known as virtual or online physiotherapy, involves the remote delivery of physiotherapy services using digital communication tools. Through video conferencing platforms, patients can connect with their physiotherapists in real-time, regardless of their location. This allows for personalized assessment, treatment, and guidance from the comfort of one's home.

3. Benefits of Telephysiotherapy

Telephysiotherapy offers several benefits over traditional in-person physiotherapy. Firstly, it provides convenience and accessibility, eliminating the need for patients to travel to clinics or rehabilitation centers. This is particularly beneficial for individuals with limited mobility, those residing in remote areas, or those with busy schedules.
Secondly, telephysiotherapy enables continuous care, as patients can receive regular sessions without interruptions. This is especially important for individuals requiring long-term rehabilitation or chronic condition management.
Furthermore, telephysiotherapy empowers patients to take an active role in their treatment. With remote guidance, they can learn exercises and techniques to perform at home, promoting self-management and independence.

4. How Telephysiotherapy Works

Telephysiotherapy utilizes video conferencing platforms, such as Zoom or Skype, to connect physiotherapists and patients. Before the session, patients schedule an appointment with their physiotherapist and receive a link to join the video call.
During the session, the physiotherapist assesses the patient's condition by asking questions, reviewing medical history, and observing movements. They may also request the patient to perform specific exercises or movements to evaluate their range of motion and identify areas of concern.
Based on the assessment, the physiotherapist develops a personalized treatment plan, which may include exercises, stretches, manual therapy techniques, and lifestyle recommendations. They demonstrate and guide the patient through the exercises, ensuring proper form and technique.

5. Telephysiotherapy vs. Traditional Physiotherapy

While telephysiotherapy shares similarities with traditional physiotherapy, there are notable differences. In traditional physiotherapy, the therapist can physically manipulate the patient's body, perform hands-on techniques, and provide immediate feedback through touch. Telephysiotherapy, on the other hand, relies on verbal and visual cues for assessment and instruction.
Although hands-on techniques are limited in telephysiotherapy, innovative tools and devices are available to enhance treatment effectiveness. For example, physiotherapists may recommend the use of resistance bands, exercise balls, or specialized equipment that can be easily acquired by the patient.

6. Conditions Treated with Telephysiotherapy

Telephysiotherapy is suitable for a wide range of conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, neurological disorders, respiratory conditions, and post-surgical rehabilitation. It can help individuals recovering from fractures, sprains, or joint surgeries regain strength, mobility, and function.
Additionally, telephysiotherapy can benefit patients with chronic pain conditions, such as arthritis or fibromyalgia. The therapist can provide education, exercises, and strategies to manage pain, improve flexibility, and enhance overall well-being.

7. Telephysiotherapy Equipment

To participate in telephysiotherapy sessions, patients require minimal equipment. A stable internet connection, a computer or smartphone with a camera, and a quiet space to perform exercises are the basic requirements. Depending on the treatment plan, patients may be advised to have additional equipment, such as resistance bands, weights, or a yoga mat.

8. Telephysiotherapy Sessions

Telephysiotherapy sessions typically follow a structured format. The initial session involves a comprehensive assessment to understand the patient's condition, medical history, and treatment goals. Subsequent sessions focus on delivering personalized treatment plans, monitoring progress, and addressing any concerns or questions.
The frequency and duration of telephysiotherapy sessions vary depending on the individual's needs. Some patients may require weekly sessions, while others may benefit from biweekly or monthly follow-ups. Regular communication between the patient and physiotherapist ensures the effectiveness of the treatment plan and allows for adjustments as needed.

2023.06.09 14:41 kayakero Google's History & Stock

History

Google is a multinational technology company that specializes in Internet-related services and products. It was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin while they were Ph.D. students at Stanford University in 1998. The company's mission statement is "to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful."
Over the years, Google has grown to become one of the most influential and valuable companies in the world, revolutionizing the way people access and interact with information.
In the early years of Google, Page and Brin developed a search engine algorithm that ranked web pages based on their relevance and popularity, known as PageRank.
This algorithm was the foundation for Google's search engine, which quickly gained popularity due to its accurate and efficient search results. The company's name, "Google," is derived from the mathematical term "googol," which represents the number 1 followed by 100 zeros, signifying the vast amount of information the search engine aimed to organize.
In 2000, Google launched its AdWords advertising platform, which allowed businesses to display targeted ads alongside search results. This innovative advertising model became a major source of revenue for the company and contributed to its rapid growth. In the same year, Google introduced Google Toolbar, a browser extension that provided quick access to Google search functionality and other features.

Google Stock

Google's success led to its initial public offering (IPO) on August 19, 2004. The company offered shares at $85 each, and the IPO raised $1.67 billion, valuing Google at $23 billion. The stock was listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange under the ticker symbol "GOOG."
Following the IPO, Google continued to expand its product offerings and acquired several companies, including YouTube, DoubleClick, and Android, which have since become integral parts of Google's business.
In 2015, Google underwent a corporate restructuring and became a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc., a new holding company. Alphabet was created to separate Google's core Internet businesses from its other ventures, allowing for more focused management and transparency. As part of the restructuring, Google's stock was converted into two classes: Class A shares (GOOGL) and Class C shares (GOOG). Class A shares carry one vote per share, while Class C shares do not have voting rights.
Google's stock has experienced significant growth since its IPO. In the early years, the stock price steadily increased, reflecting the company's expanding user base and revenue streams. However, it also faced some volatility during the global financial crisis of 2008, like many other companies. Nevertheless, Google's ability to innovate and adapt to changing technologies and user behaviors helped it maintain a strong position in the market.
Over time, Google's stock has consistently performed well, reaching new milestones. In 2013, the stock price surpassed $1,000 per share for the first time. In 2015, following the restructuring into Alphabet, the stock prices for both Class A and Class C shares were adjusted accordingly. The stock's growth continued, and in 2018, the price exceeded $1,200 per share.
As of the knowledge cutoff in September 2021, Google's stock has continued to rise, reflecting the company's strong financial performance and market dominance. The Class A shares (GOOGL) and Class C shares (GOOG) have consistently traded at high valuations. It's important to note that stock prices can fluctuate significantly over time due to various factors, including market conditions, investor sentiment, and company performance.
Google's success extends beyond its core search business. The company has expanded into various areas, including cloud computing with Google Cloud, hardware with products like Pixel smartphones and Nest smart home devices, and artificial intelligence research with Google AI. Google's influence can also be seen in the development of the Android operating system, which has become the most widely used mobile operating system globally.
Google's stock performance has been closely tied to its ability to innovate and maintain its dominant position in the tech industry. The company's revenue primarily comes from advertising, with its search engine and advertising platforms generating substantial income. Google's advertising business benefits from its vast user base and the ability to deliver targeted ads based on user data and search intent.
In recent years, Google has faced increased scrutiny and regulatory challenges related to its market dominance and data privacy practices. Authorities in various countries have raised concerns about Google's handling of user data and its impact on competition. These challenges have led to fines and investigations, which could potentially impact the company's reputation and financial performance.
Despite these challenges, Google has continued to invest in research and development, exploring emerging technologies and expanding its product offerings. The company's focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning has led to advancements in various fields, including natural language processing, computer vision, and autonomous driving.

In recent years, Google has demonstrated a commitment to sustainability and renewable energy. The company has made significant investments in renewable energy projects and aims to operate on 24/7 carbon-free energy by 2030. This focus on sustainability aligns with growing environmental concerns and investor demands for companies to address climate change.
Looking ahead, Google faces both opportunities and challenges. The continued growth of digital advertising, the expansion of cloud computing services, and the development of new technologies provide avenues for revenue growth. However, the company must navigate regulatory pressures, privacy concerns, and competition to maintain its market leadership.
As of the current date in June 2023, it is essential to refer to the latest financial information and stock prices to get an accurate understanding of Google's stock performance. Stock prices are subject to change due to market dynamics, economic conditions, and company-specific factors.

Final Words

Its stock has experienced significant growth since its IPO, reflecting its market dominance and strong financial performance. However, the company faces ongoing challenges, and its stock performance will continue to be influenced by various factors in the dynamic technology industry.

2023.06.09 14:33 FalseProgress5 Religion just killed my little brother.

On mobile, and i need somewhere to vent, my apologies. My younger brother and I grew up together. He was always strange growing up, but he was smart. He couldn't stand any religion when he was younger. He was mentally, physically, and sexually abused as a child. He couldn't fathom there being a God, because why would a God do those things to a child? Unfortunately, in his late teens, he was diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic. Before that point, he and I would smoke weed together and talk about all the many failings of religions and their detriment to society as a whole. After he was diagnosed, he decided to start self medicating using a newer substance, at the time, called kratom. Around the time he was 19, he started really getting delusional. For example, he once tripped on some Salvia and then spent days trying to convince me he had found the secrets of the universe and said, "we're all in stories." I got where he was coming from, having experienced the world folding on itself over and over like pages from a book during my own Salvia trip. But the level of conviction he had and his need for me to understand was scary. When I would tell him it's just his brain's reaction to the drug, he would become irate. He eventually decided to move across the country and marry a girl he met online. They did kratom together, had a baby, and decided to start living out of cars or small motor homes. The kratom was affecting him physically as well as mentally. He became impossible to talk to, like talking to a wall. He eventually jumped on the Trump train due to being an easy target for online misinformation. It was as drastic of a change in mindset as Kanye. He went from being a thoughtful atheist conversationist to a preaching racist "Christian." He finally got some help about two years ago after our dad passed. My brother's wife had left him and taken the child, and slapped him with a no contact order. After my mom decided she could no longer live with him and feel safe. She took him to a clinic, and they convinced him to stay. After a little time and therapy, I had my little bro back, at least somewhat. He dumped the whole being racist and went back to being a liberal. Unfortunately, he never truly got past the "maybe there is a heaven" part. I think it was in large part due to how bad he felt for the way he treated our dad before he passed. I know I blamed myself and fell into a depression, but I was states away when it happened. I can't imagine how bad he felt knowing that he was there staying with him in a full-blown psychotic episode. He started using kratom again and began to fall back into another psychotic episode, only this time his focus was on death. He wanted there to be an afterlife so bad that his mind began creating one for him every night when he would dream. Of course, it was hard for him to sleep due to the kratom. So he would take benadryl, or seroquil, in order to sleep and visit this other world where he could speak to our dad. He even said he saw his daughter there. She's alive, but that didn't matter to him being as how logic was now out the window from the drug use. I spent many phone calls with him telling him that this world could be just as nice as his dreams were. He would go to our mom's apartment and watch The Good Place with her because it was the only show he was willing to sit through... Well, the Monday before last, I was woken up by a call from our mom. My little brother shot himself, and they found his body after the cops broke in to do a wellness check. I found bags of kratom all over his apartment, and I mean everywhere. Maybe I can't fully blame religion because he was mentally ill and on drugs. But I know damn well he wouldn't have done it unless he was positive he was going somewhere better, the place in his dreams. I've talked about the dangers of believing in an afterlife with him a thousand times. I never thought I was actually talking about him. I lost my little brother, and the pain is unimaginable. I've felt like I was living in a fog since my dad passed, I can't even describe what life feels like now. It doesn't feel real anymore. I can't stop crying. His daughter, who asked her mom if she could talk to him just days before it happened, has not seen or spoken to him since she was three. I'm going to make a video of every picture and video of him I have, and give it to her, because i doubt she has any real memories of him left. Unfortunately, he left us with no money for his services. We barely got enough to pay for a cremation through a gofundme that my cousin set up for him. I'm going to set up some kind of college fund for his daughter with what little I have because she deserves something. The fairytale of an afterlife has now taken the one person I spent more time with growing up than anyone else on this planet. Since his diagnosis, I always imagined I would be taking care of him later in life. He trusted me more than anyone in the world, and I feel like I let him down. Life, for me, will never be the same. I loved you, Eric, and I will always miss you!

2023.06.09 14:32 mileytabby The Best Online Classes to Take as a College Freshman

As college freshmen, figuring out which courses would best fit your academic goals can be daunting.
With the rising popularity of online classes, plenty of options are available at your fingertips! Here is a list of the best online classes you can take as a first-year student to make this transition easier and quicker.
Look for courses tailored specifically towards freshman interests since these may lead to a better understanding before others due soon next semester hence being well prepared beforehand helps ward off potential problems surfacing later on during actual exams when least expected sometimes; Assignmentforum offers such opportunities with regards to gaining knowledge virtually after enrolling via their websites or mobile applications too.
Secondly, pick one related core central area - this gives an insight into already having prior experience working within the same field, allowing one to build upon those skills through digital mediums multiple times faster than traditional methods ever could, thus saving the necessary time required learning tough subjects still left pending completing course syllabus altogether shortly after beginning semester itself.
Finally, try mixing up topics between sciences/humanities - doing this provides exposure to dealing with different types of material simultaneously while also preparing individuals to catch glimpses regarding new concepts they hadn't known writing back home previously if following a similar curriculum only then.

2023.06.09 14:31 missexsomeone I do not deserve a break

So context- I am a stay at home and default parent. My husband sometimes works 60 hours. Last school year I took our 2 year old to a sitters once a week while older child, 7 was at school so I could do house chores in peace, get shit done, go to my appts, etc.
The end of December I suffered respiratory failure because I’m asthmatic and caught the worst strain of the flu going around this past winter. Recovery was absolutely hell. Once husband went back to work (he was able to stay home with us and take care of me for ~2 weeks, which I am very grateful for), our toddler was between the sitter and my MIL for about 5 weeks. Every week I was able to slowly decrease the days he went as I gained back my strength, mobility, mental clarity, etc. I went back to taking him one day a week however because I was still quickly exhausted and had even more doctors appointments and just need to REST. Yesterday, I took our toddler to the sitter after having not for 3.5 weeks so my older son and I could have a day just us. He doesn’t get much individualized attention and I feel it’s only fair that he gets a day every once in awhile with just mommy because that was his life for 4.5 years before our toddler came along. We watched some shows and snuggled, built a couple of Lego sets, played Spider-Man (he loves costumes and playing pretend). I also got some laundry done and put away. We had such an amazing day together and I felt so good about it. Toddler was at the sitters for ~7 hours.
My husband was completely upset and pissed off because I’m a stay at home mom and shouldn’t be taking our son to a sitter. This upset me deeply because it makes me feel completely unappreciated and unseen. I do all of this by myself. He doesn’t help take care of the house or dogs (2), he does help with the kids. I am a fucking stress case because of issues going on between us. I am highly anxious to the point of throwing up almost every day. Even if it was to just take him to the sitters and fuck off all day (which I’ve never done; I’m always taking care of the house, catching up on chores, doctors appts, etc) am I undeserving of a break? Is everything that I do of so little value that I do not deserve some time to myself? Some quietness and stillness? I spend my days taking care of and worrying about every other god damn thing in this house and have always put myself last to the point of crippling depression in the past.
All I wanted was a day to focus on my oldest. I felt so great about the day we had and how I was able to be present with him, which admittedly lately has been very difficult. I have felt mine and my oldest connection slipping and I wanted to reconnect with him without the interruption of his little brother constantly needing me.
Please do not get me wrong, I am incredibly grateful that my husband works his ass of for us. He is very tired often because of the long hours he works. I appreciate that. I let him sleep nearly all day on his days off, if I ask him to do anything, it’s 1-2 small things like load the dishwasher or change the trash. He has made me feel unseen and unappreciated so much in the past and I thought it was better. He used to say he was so happy for me that I got some time for myself and it helped improve my mental health greatly. But now I feel like he’s back to disregarding everything I do, like it’s nothing and I don’t need and am not deserving of a break (which again my breaks are not true breaks). How did he go from happy for me that I was able to have and make some space for myself to make me feel like I’m a rotten person for taking my toddler to the sitter so I could have a day with my oldest?
I’m a stay at home mom so am I not deserving of that? Are only working moms deserving of a break? Is what I do not a 24/7 job?
I feel so damn worthless and defeated right now.

2023.06.09 13:57 nano_byte Best Way To Fly with Folding Cane?

I have a work trip coming up where I have to fly, and this will be the first flight I've done since I started using a came to assist with mobility.
I have seen and heard horror stories of TSA snapping people's canes and mistreating mobility aids in general. How can best protect my cane with going through security so it doesn't get damaged?
It's a folding cane and I would most likely have it packed going through security. I cannot check a bag so it'd be in my carry-on. Would it be safer to have it out instead of folded away? Or just safer to leave it at home and bear through it, which I can do but will be exhausting and unpleasant. (I use it for chronic pain and fatigue so instances where I'll be sitting a lot require it less)

2023.06.09 13:48 pxsalmers Need advice regarding future planning (investing, home ownership, savings)

Since I’m turning 33 next month and I’m not getting any younger, I figured I’d make a post here trying to get insight on what my next steps should be financially.
Questions:
  1. Would I be better off stockpiling cash now and buying a home later with a larger down payment or buying ASAP?
  2. Even if my short term goal is home ownership, am I allocating too little for my retirement investments?
  3. Is there a general benchmark I should be using for determining the upper limit I can afford on purchasing a house?
  4. I would probably consider HOA for managed property upkeep as I am not very handy / good at DIY. I know this likely doesn’t include interior maintenance, but are there significant downsides I should be aware of?

2023.06.09 13:30 AutoModerator Dangerous legal precedent about to be set if my eviction appeal is not granted

Tens of thousands of South Carolina mobile homeowners manufactured before 1976 & renting the land it sits upon, can be legally evicted without cause if the Appellate court upholds the verdict of my eviction based solely upon the wording of the 30-day notice of the end of the term of their expired lease agreement.
Many, if not most renters of land in a mobile home park, have leases for one year, which likely have never been renewed from year to year, as the law states.
If my case is not dismissed, it will become 'case law', which can then be used by any greedy, unscrupulous landowner who wants to own your home to evict you and take possession of your home, whether there exists no cause or reason for the eviction.

2023.06.09 13:12 michaelrabone Connected to wifi but no internet

I’m new to Apple and own my first 6 week old Macbook 14 M2 Pro. I have Fiber 600Mb connection that intermittently, daily or every 1 or 2 days disconnects from the internet but I still have WiFi connection. To reconnect to the Wifi I have to turn off the Wifi on the laptop and then back on again or change internet channel, (I have standard and 5G channels).
I have spent days looking for answers on the web. I’ve changed DNS, renewed DHCP lease, forget and reconnect to network, changed network location, rebooted and reset my router, checked laptop location, date, and time, ran diagnostics, etc.
When I reset my router the first time I had 5 days of internet with no problems. The second time I reset the router the problem returned the day after. When I check the network it seems I’m still receiving data when I’m not connected to the internet.
This problem happens when I use Safari, when I use Chrome, and with both browsers. I have a few pinned tabs on each browser. One tab is Trading View that pulls chart data, etc.
I don’t have many apps installed on my laptop except Adobe Creative Cloud, a few Adobe apps, and Chrome. I’m running the latest macOS Ventura 13.4.
I’ve visited the genius bar at my local official Apple Store where I bought the laptop. They ran diagnostics on the hardware and everything is working. They said if the problem persists I can take the laptop back in for a complete reinstall. They were not interested in troubleshooting.
I restart my laptop weekly and work all the time from my home. It’s a shared apartment and there are 3 other laptops and mobiles periodically connected to the same router that have no internet problems. My previous Windows Dell laptop also had no internet problems.
I want to get in contact with my internet service provider to ask if the router software is up to date and for them to run diagnostics but it’s been very difficult to contact them. I will keep trying. The router is only 2 years old.
Has anyone else experienced this WiFi with no internet problem? Is there a bug in my Macbook Pro or is this an internet problem?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
